Drive Structure
Rollers
Designed for heavier loading and longer paths, Serpentix Model H conveyors are typically powered by only 5 to 15 horsepower electric motors.
Conveyor Chain and Roller Assembly Rollers reduce friction and permit longer hauls at lower horsepower. Transition track on this conveyor permitted Serpentix to get under three 2 meter belt filter presses in this wastewater treatment plant.
Tension Structure
Engineering
Model H Tension Station The belting attaches to the main conveyor chain. Chain adjustment occurs at the tension station. A chain driven conveyor is positive tracking. Our unique belting permits turns in three dimensions.
Engineering design to maximize process layout is what Serpentix provides with its Continuous Path Conveyors™. This 15 year old conveyor elevates to 60 feet over a 193' helical path.
Vertical Turns
This conveyor was retrofitted, as part of a process upgrade, into an existing facility. In an incinerator room, the conveyor is enclosed. Only a Serpentix conveyor could have accommodate the path required by this plant. Here a vertical turn was required to access another room.
